C# Developer Intern
As a C# Developer Intern at FutureSight, you will collaborate with our studio team on various projects for our clients and new startup initiatives. We are seeking an intern who embodies a proactive “Let’s roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude, demonstrating energy, passion, and a proactive approach at every level. Strong engagement and communication skills are fundamental for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using C# and the .NET framework
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, and deployment
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues to improve application performance and reliability
- Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Support the integration of third-party APIs and services into existing applications
- Help prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals
- Participate in team meetings and provide valuable input and feedback
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the adoption of best practices
Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and proficiency in C#
- Experience with the .NET framework, including ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
- Knowledge of database management systems, particularly SQL Server
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in ChatGPT and similar generative AI tools
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Polish language for communication
- Familiarity with .NET framework and .NET Core
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems like SQL Server
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with version control systems like Git
