.NET Developer Intern
As a .NET Developer Intern at FutureSight, you will work with our studio team on various projects for our clients and new startup initiatives. We are looking for someone with a “Let’s roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude. A successful candidate needs to show energy, passion, “can do” attitude. Be proactive at every level. High engagement and communication skills are fundamental for us.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using the .NET framework
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, and deployment
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues to improve application performance and reliability
- Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Support the integration of third-party APIs and services into existing applications
- Help prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals
- Participate in team meetings and provide valuable input and feedback
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the adoption of best practices
- Work on the laptop provided by the client
- Stay updated on emerging technologies
Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and the .NET framework
- Proficiency in C# and experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
- Knowledge of database management systems, particularly SQL Server
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in ChatGPT and similar generative AI tools
- Expertise in prompt engineering for AI optimization
Nice to have
- Familiarity with .NET Core and the .NET Framework
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core for web development
- Optimizely CMS

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
